We’ve just launched the final phase of the prestigious 9 Millbank development for St Edward Berkeley Group with a unique collection of five masterfully refurbished residences set within the magnificent Grade-II listed building. Located on the banks of the River Thames in the heart of Westminster, the first two residential phases have already formed part of the fastest selling Berkeley developments to date.

Steeped in history and neighbouring the world-famous Houses of Parliament, the heritage apartments have been expertly restored and refurbished to the highest standards. The original features of the building include timber panelling with intricately carved door frames, ornate decorative plasterwork on the ceilings, all meticulously restored to showcase the beauty and craftsmanship of the 1920s neoclassical property.

We created bespoke brochures for each of the five apartments providing a history of the building and showcasing all of the original features and unique characteristics specific to each apartment. To encapsulate British history and to create a personalised touch, the apartments were individually named after famous former residents of Westminster. Each individual brochure is then presented in a luxurious bespoke box, bound in smooth grained material with a soft touch interior. Upon opening the box, a sheet of foiled translucent vellum paper covers the brochure with a welcome letter and short biography of who the apartment was named after.

Each apartment has its own unique colour and a welcome letter sits above the brochure which is lifted out by ribbon.

The neoclassical building inspired the design for the brochures with the original features being used on the front and inside covers. These featured designs based on the ornate plasterwork and detailing from one of the original staircases was made into a pattern and printed in gold foil. The use of different textured materials gives a luxurious quality to the brochures and the attention to detail gives the premium feel necessary to present the historic apartments in all their glory.

The Gainsborough apartment features the stunning Portland stone terrace with views overlooking the River Thames.
