When we’re knee deep building brands, brochures and websites galore, it’s always nice to come up for air and watch a brilliant piece of clever advertising. The new Harvey Nichols campaign promoting their recent Rewards App did exactly that this week. Not only do I love how they repurposed already existing content (gritty, CCTV footage of naughty shoplifters throughout their stores), but the animated, cartoon robber faces concealing the guilty’s identity had me not so quietly chuckling away at my desk. And with almost 50,000 views in just two days, I know I’m not the only one laughing (or downloading their new app).
