33 Davies Street, Mayfair
33 Davies Street is a distinctive landmark building covering 28,856 sq ft of highly specified grade A offices directly opposite Claridge’s, in the heart of Mayfair.
The renowned sculptor and designer, Wendy Ramshaw, designed the building's triple height, portcullis, bronze bay doors. Details of these physical designs and their restrained bronze palette are echoed in the overall brand and marketing to create an elegant and differentiated brand.
The invitations were laser-cut to represent mini replicas of the portcullis features. Guests were invited to a private lunch at Scott's to celebrate the completion of the building.
The post-completion brochure featured cut-outs which revealed details and messages of the following page to develop a sense of intrigue and focus on the custom materials. We sought to create the feeling of a boutique hotel rather than a traditional office reception.
The website for 33 Davies Street followed the elegant design of the brochure and provided an online gallery of imagery.
The retail opportunity needed to highlight the exceptional frontages and was subsequently brought to life in a fold-out illustration. The client wanted to attract a flagship or destination retailer in keeping with their overarching Mayfair retail strategy and the space was successfully, and quickly, let to the Paris-based fashion and cashmere retailer, Frank Namani, as their first UK store.
Proposed CGI hoarding backlit in 3D bronze and laser cut to produce replicas of the Wendy Ramshaw graphic installation.
