The Blade, Reading

Located in Reading this iconic building had suffered from poor take-up during the recession. Sectorlight were appointed to create a marketing campaign to re-engage and attract the market.

The campaign is based on a building that is a ‘cut above the rest,’ with a revitalized reception that had a ‘new edge’ and tenants that were ready to ‘sharpen up.’ These key phrases, coupled with a strong triangular graphic, provided a strong creative platform.

The marketing provided the building with a new lease on life, as well as the Sky Lounge offering a great amenity to the tenants. Within eight months of marketing, five more floors have been let to four tenants

Digital

The digital offering for The Blade was particularly strong, with an engaging email campaign correlating creative use of ‘blade’ photography with news of new tenants, as well as a website showcasing the photography and tenant testimonials.

Sectorlight developed a marketing suite or ‘Sky Lounge’ on the top floor with views over Reading. It included a presentation area with plasma screen and presentation nodes around the floor plates. It also included smaller break-out spaces for tenants to use for informal meetings.
